I love German Iris with all their clear jewel colors and scent.  Soon there will be beds of many new named iris for you to view in the spring.  They have a short bloom season, but you can extend that with planting a variety of different ones with early, mid, and late bloom times.

This is a project that is new, but iris multiply fast, are drought hardy, and so come and watch them grow and pick out your favorites.

In time, there will be iris sales each fall at Hummingbird Hill.  They will be sold by the count of rhizomes.
