Rescued Oriental Short Hair Cats for Adoption

(Sometimes)

Whoa!  This is supposed to be a garden website!

It is.  But since we also have rescued Oriental cats ready for adoption from time to time, I stuck it in so people can find a kitty and also see the gardens.

These Oriental Short Hair cats are not registered because they were rescued.

Oriental cats are a newly listed breed.  They are a cross between the American Shorthair cat and the Siamese.  They look and act like the Siamese, but they come in every color like the American Shorthair cat.

The Oriental Short hair cat is a beautiful animal.  They have very short, slick hair, long tails, and a long lean body, unless they get fat like some of mine!  They are chatty like the Siamese, and often like water and learn to play fetch.  But, unlike the Siamese, most Orientals have the calm, easy-going personality of the American Shorthair cat. Their coat comes in every color, and the short hair makes less mess and is easier on people with allergies.

My cats are black and white bi-color, (also called tuxedo).  The black and white bi-color looks painted on, like a paint horse, because the hair is so short.

Available two black and white tuxedo females:

One tuxedo female named "BeBu"

One tuxedo female named "Checkers"

BeBu was born July 27, 2008.  BeBu is so named because she has a cute black spot where her belly button should be and so she was christened Belly Button.  This has since been shortened to BeBu.  She is litter trained and weaned.  BeBu has been an only child and is used to getting all the attention.  She is tolerated by the other cats more than she should, and therefore she is quite a tease.  Bebu is the kitten of one of our rescued cats.  She has never been out of the house.  She is afraid of dogs because she has never been around any, but she will quickly learn not to be so because other than that she isn't afraid of anything.

Bleska is a four year old spade female.  She is very intelligent, and she loves attention from her people.  She is afraid of dogs, also, but she is used to being around other cats and is quite bold.  She refuses to be intimidated by cat bullies.  Bleska has not been out of the house since she was a six months old kitten.

We are not a kitten factory, and we do not breed cats for show.  Our cats are not de-clawed, and we don't wish them to become so.
