If you see any plants at Hummingbird Hill that you would like to buy, then I can usually advise you where to get them.  Most can be drop shipped at the proper planting time for this zone at your work site or home.  Local nurseries might have pick-up only.

Seasonally, I thin out or relocate my plants.  At these times plants will be available to buy here at Hummingbird Hill.  Sometimes I have collected seeds that are available to buy also.

Roses:  Check out the Roses page!

If you like the varieties that I have, or wish to order some other Old Garden Roses, or Griffith Buck Roses, now is the time to do it before the varieties you want are sold out!

I do not ship roses in the summer.  Order them early, for many of these are popular and sell out early.  These are all own-root roses, and not grafted.

Plants Currently Available:

Canna Lily rhizomes, an assorted mix of Zinnia seed (both large and small flowers).  Aloe Vera, Agave, Spineless Cactus:  I have two kinds - one is curly and one symmetrical.  Both have yellow flowers.  Cowpen Daisy seeds.

  • I have several unnamed canna lilies available to buy.  They are $1/good size rhizome.

Tall cannas  5-6':  I have a large flowered one that is orange with yellow spots.  There are enough here to landscape a whole subdivision or park.  I also have a medium 4-5', bright, clear yellow canna available that does well in the garden or also can be used in bog gardens or around ponds.

Medium cannas 3-4':  I have a bright red one with large flowers that make quite a show.

  • Mixed Zinna seeds.  They are $2/handfull and placed in a baggie for you.
  • Cowpen daisy seed (Verbesina encelioides) $1/baggie.
  • Aloe Vera $2/plant      Agave $1/plant      Spineless Prickly Pear Cactus $1/perianth (petal)

This is a new garden going on it's fourth summer.  But things grow fast in Central Texas and hopefully soon there will be seasonal sales of named daylily, iris, and canna.
